As we close out this 20th century, one of the great philosophical issues is the very question, "Is there a basic reality at all?" Some say that our perceptions, individual and corporate, are all that there is to reality.
I disagree, but any of you who do think this way are invited to read on. It takes only a small bit of internal editing to do away with my "reality" language, and any value this study holds doesn't depend upon our agreement on that point.
